The Hunger Solution
One question I get asked all the time at Beth Burns Fitness is, what should I eat? That’s because we all know that what we eat has an effect on how we look and feel. But when I start to ask people about why or how they eat, I get blank stares. 🙂 In fact, one thing I hear from women all the time is that they can’t remember the last time they actually felt hunger!
I totally get it. For a long time, I did much the same thing. I searched through books, fitness blogs, and celebrity diets, always trying to fit myself into other people’s plans. But years later, I was still starting over on Mondays, still a slave to my urges, and still not understanding anything about my own body.
It wasn’t until I started slowing down and practicing mindfulness that I put the pieces together: how and why I eat is just as important as what I eat and my body is the best resource for learning how to do that. Seems so simple, but most of us are so busy looking in all the wrong places for the quick fix that we never stop to ask, Is there a better way? WHAT’S MY BODY TELLING ME?
“Only eat when you’re hungry” is great advice and seems like a simple idea, but most of us are so out of practice with it that we could use a little help getting started. The Hunger Solution is a free e-course that’ll help bridge the gap between the what and the how of your nutrition.
